Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive Mumbai

On arrival at Mumbai international airport you will be welcome by our representative and escorted to your pre-booked hotel in Delhi. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2 : Mumbai – Rajkot (By flight) – Gir National Park (164 km)

Morning transfer to the airport to board the flight for Rajkot, on arrival at Rajkot airport meet with our representative and drive to Gir National Park. On arrival check in at the wildlife resort. After lunch jungle safari to the national park for wildlife viewing. Overnight stay at resort.

Day 3  : Gir National Park

Morning & afternoon Jungle safari to the national park for wildlife viewing. Overnight stay at resort.

According to official census figures, Gir has about 300 lions and 300 leopards, making it one of the major big-cat concentrations in India. Sambar and spotted deer (chital), blue bull (nilgai), chousingha (the world’s only four-horned antelope), chinkara (Indian gazelle) and wild boar thrive in Gir. Jackal, striped hyena, jungle cat, rusty-spotted cat, langur, porcupine, black-naped Indian hare are among the other mammals of Gir.

Day 4 : Gir National Park

Morning & afternoon Jungle safari to the national park for wildlife viewing. Overnight stay at resort.

Day 5 : Gir – Rajkot (164 km) – Mumbai – Nagpur

Early morning checkout from the resort & drive to Rajkot. On arrival transfer to the airport to board the flight for Nagpur via Mumbai. On arrival at Mumbai Nagpur airport meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6 : Nagpur – Kanha National Park (290 km)

Today after breakfast at the hotel, we will be heading for Kanha National Park. The journey by road will take approx 6 hrs to reach Kiplings country, an outstanding wildlife reserve of India. Situated within two main valleys, Halon in the east and Banjar in the west, and the grassy ‘maidans’, dotted with clumps of forest harbor large numbers of herbivores. The hills offer support sizeable plateaus (locally called ‘Dadars’) and the characterized by extensive grasslands and scant trees.

On arrival at the national park we will check in at the wildlife resort. After fresh-n-up & lunch we will ready to enter the Kanha national park for first time accompanying with the naturalist. overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7  : Kanha National Park

We will continue with our scheduled jungle safari to the national park for wildlife viewing both morning & evening. Overnight stay at resort.

Kanha national park is habitat for following wildlife mammals like tiger, bison, gaur, sambar, chital, barasingha, barking deer, black deer, black buck, chousingha, nilgai, mouse deer, sloth bear, jackal fox, porcupine, hyena, jungle cat, python, pea fowl, hare, monkey, mongoose, tiger, and leopard.

Day 8 : Kanha National Park – Bandhavgarh National Park

Morning jungle safari to the national park, later after breakfast drive to Bandhavgarh National park. On arrival check in at the wildlife resort. Overnight stay at resort. Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve is mainly known for its Royal Bangal Tigers.

Day 9 :Bandhavgarh National Park

Today we will enter twice to the national park for our morning & afternoon scheduled Jungle safari for its wildlife. Overnight stay at wildlife resort.

Day 10 : Bandhavgarh National Park

We will still enjoy hunting wildlife with big camera’s on the consequent day. For the same we will enter twice here on third day for its morning & afternoon season. Overnight stay at resort.

Day 11 : Bandhavgarh – Katani (100 km) – Agra (By train)

Today we will have an excursion to Bandhavgarh fort. This fort is in ruins now but the strong high walls of the fort tell a saga of valour and splendour. The fort blends with the wilds of the park and has become a part of the park. No one knows when the fort was constructed but scripts as old as Shiva Purina have mention the fort which is believed to be almost 2000 years old. The park in itself is historically very important. The signs of early habitation can be seen in the caves excavated from the cliffs to the north of the fort. Brahmi inscriptions here date back to the 1st century BC. Later after lunch drive to Katani on arrival transfer to railway station to board the train for Agra. Overnight stay on board.

Day 12  : Arrive Agra

On arrival at Agra railway station meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel. After fresh-n-up visit the famous Taj Mahal built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial to his queen Mumtaz Mahal, made out of white marble took 22 years to complete (1630-1652 AD).

Later visit Agra fort. Built principally as a military establishment by Akbar in 1565, the red sandstone Agra fort was partially converted into a palace during Shah Jahan’s time. Though the principal structure was built by Akbar. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 13  : Agra – Delhi (204 km)

Morning after breakfast drive to Delhi. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 14 :  Delhi

Morning after breakfast city sightseeing tour of Delhi visiting Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana – the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk, Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch ). Also drive past President’s House, Parliament House, and Government Secretariat Buildings & Connaught Place shopping centre. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 15 :  Delhi Depart

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the international airport to board the flight for onward destination.
