Delhi to Yamunotari

Starting journey from Delhi, first reach Haridwar that is around 200 km away from Delhi and it will take 6-7 hours to reach. After reaching Haridwar, attend Ganga Aarti; visit Har ki Pauri and Mansa Devi Temple. Afterwards, move ahead to Barkot that will take another 6-7 hours en route visit Mussoorie and enjoy Kempty Falls. From Barkot, move towards Yamunotari temple via Jankichatti/Phoolchatti.

From Jankichatti, there is trek of around 5-6 km to reach Yamunotari temple, where you will see the origin point of River Yamuna. In addition, take bath in the holy river of Yamuna and perform Yamuna Pujan in Divya Shila. Once you perform all the rituals and seek blessings from idol, head back towards Barkot by doing a trek of 5-6 km and driving of 38-40 km.

Barkot to Gangotri

After spending some time in leisure and rest, get ready to cover another major destination, Gangotri, where you will witness the origin of River Ganga. Head towards Uttarkashi, which is a drive of 7 hours covering 140 km, from Barkot while pay a visit in Lakhamandal. In Uttarkashi, also visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and seek his blessings. Then, from Uttarkashi, start your journey towards Gangotri
temple that will take around 5 hours to complete 120 km. Perform pooja, worship the idol and en route visit some magnificent places such as Bhagirath Shila, Gauri Ganesha Temple, Surya Kund, Gupteshwar Temple, and more. After Gangotri, head back to Uttarkashi while visiting Harsil Valley and Gangnani also meet the Tibetan people.

Uttarkashi to Kedarnath

From Uttarkashi, commence your journey towards the Abode of Lord Shiva, Kedarnath. Firstly, reach to Guptkashi that will take 8-9 hours to cover 250 km and then head towards Gaurikund. Once you reach Gaurikund, initiate your trek for Kedarnath that will take around 6-7 hours to cover a distance of 14 km. Once you reach the temple, get ready for darshan and spend some time in the lapse of nature. Also, pay a visit to Shankaracharya Samadhi, Bhaironath Temple, and more. You can also perform rituals at different locations including Ghat, Kund, and more. Also meet the Gurus and Sadhus present there and learn more about rituals and spiritual concepts. Next day, trek back to Guptkashi and take some rest for the day.

Guptkashi to Badrinath

Now head towards Badrinath, which is located at a distance of 200 km from Guptkashi and it will take 7-8 hours to reach. While driving towards Badrinath, witness the Panch Prayag, Rudraprayag, Vishnuprayag, Devprayag, Nandprayag, and Karnaprayag. In addition, pay a visit to some of the popular places including Mana village, Ekadasi Gufa, Hanuman Gufa, Nag Nagin Pith, and more. Reach your at
the Badrinath temple, worship idols and seek his blessings. Also, explore Joshimath, Naradkund, Bhim Pul, Brahma Kapal, and more. Then, return to Rudraprayag or also travel to Srinagar of Uttarakhand, spend your day in leisure.
